Our sport ethos at Penistone St John’s the Baptist Primary School is to show mutual respect, sportsmanship and co-operation, recognising that competition is healthy and invaluable to a child’s development in becoming a well rounded individual who seeks to improve within every aspect of their education.

BREAKING NEWS: YEAR 3 MAKE ALL THE RIGHT MOVES! In year 3 we have been taking part in a gymnastic floor routine, working on shapes and symmetry. The children put together a routine that was a sequence of three moves, which they demonstrated in front of the whole class. Some amazing gymnastics movements I'm sure you will agree! Well done year 3.
