What a season! The team have done it and won the league, scoring 56 goals and conceding only 5. The boys went into the game undefeated all year and started the game nervously conceding after just a few minutes. Finding their stride, working together, the boys pulled together and won the game comfortably 6-1 against Burton Road. For some children, this is their last game of primary school football and we wish them all the best for their future footballing careers. Well done boys! You have made history! #bestteamever

4 in 4 for PSJP Football Team
The boys played incredibly well tonight winning 4-1 against Burton Road at home. It was a tough match with some great performances. Jacob Devaney leading by example from the back, giving him the joint man of the match with Arthur Furniss who played a key role in the second half from midfield. Definitely a new position that will make the team stronger. Fingers crossed, the boys can continue this for the rest of the season. Very impressed with everyone!! Well done lads!!

History has been written! Today Penistone St John's went head to head with Dodworth St John's at half time at Oakwell Stadium. The team played some fantastic football and stuck to the game plan under immense pressure. The Barnsley fans roared the team on and we managed to bring home the silverware with a 1-0 victory, courtesy of a goal from Josiah (the team captain) The team got to experience an opportunity every young footballer dreams to have in their lifetime; to play in front of thousands.
