Year 3/4 Swim for Gold @ Swimming Competition

Victory! Year 3 and 4 competed in a Swimming Gala today held at the Metrodome, Barnsley. We split into four teams having a green, blue, yellow and red team. All teams were fantastic, encouraging each other to try their best and that they did. After some amazing swimming events, it was our blue team that were victorious, finishing 1st place out of 8 teams in total. It was a wonderful day for non-swimmers, able swimmers and good swimmers and we at PSJP would like to say well done to those who took part. Thank you to all parents who came and showed their support at this event and a special thank you to Mr Shering (parent) for sharing his expertise and supporting our blue team!

PSJP Football Team Retire

It's fair to say that our Year 6 boys football team have had a fantastic season this year. They have played with great courage in every match this season, winning the majority of schools in Barnsley. This was recognised and the boys showcased their talent at the South Yorkshire competition held in Doncaster earlier this year. However, the time has come for the boys to retire and make way for another PSJP team.

The majority of the team have been put forward to Barnsley Football Club and all children will be on trial for their secondary school teams in September. It has been an emotional journey that I'm sure the boys won't forget in a hurry. I would personally like the add, thank you for the amazing memories and we all at PSJP wish you all the best in your future footballing careers. Good luck!

Bruce Dyer Congratulates 'Love Life' Winners

Well done to Harrison and Laura for winning the players of the season award for all their hard work and positive attitude shown at all training sessions. Bruce and all the staff at PSJP are very proud of the winners and for all children who took part in the Love Life club this year. I would also like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Bruce Dyer for his Christian teachings through football, encouraging children to show respect, love and teamwork. We can't wait for next year!

Picnic in the park @ Wentworth Park

Today at St John's we celebrated the end of the academic year with a picnic in the park. Children had their lunches together and enjoyed playing games such as; rounders, golf, football and kwik cricket. It was a perfect day for the event with all children loving the hot summers day. Long may it continue. Thank you to all staff for your support!
